Changing format

After many years of fighting against social networking sites such as FB and others, I've decided to take Truckers Road on a slighting different direction. We are going to get away from a message forum format in favor of a more informational one. I'm currently experimenting with different formats and hope to have one in place by the first of the year.

I want to thank all you have participated over the years and hopefully you will still find us interesting.

What's going on?

What's happening????

Well, due to some unforeseen happenings over at the UBB support site the decision has been made to return to FusionBB. There have been some changes with FusionBB that bode well for the future if they in fact occur.

Rather than try and convert the UBBT build back to Fusion, I chose to just re-open this board so there will be some missing posts, but it saved me a lot of time, anxiety and bandwidth to do it this way.

Enjoy

Don't mess with this 5 year old

Since we are an Alpha testing site, we have the opportunity to interact more directly with the developers of this software.

What I would like to do, is get some suggestions from you, the members, as to what improvements, features and other fun stuff you would like to see written into it. So, if you would leave us a post on your ideas, I'll pass them along and who knows, you might just see one of them on here sometime in the future.

I just want to let you know that if you haven't registered on here (IT'S FREE!) you are missing an awful lot of good things. For instance, you won't see the Games Links, the Chat Room Link, the Classifieds Link or the new Trucking Jobs Link! There are a lot of features on here available only to those who register an account. We do NOT spam anyone, nor do we collect and sell any type of personal or NON-personal information. What information we do collect is only for use on Truckers Road.

So, REGISTER, it doesn't hurt and you will get to meet a lot of very nice people. Of course, if you are only here to cause problems your stay WILL be a short one.
